How to Install and Use QuickShaper - Landscape generator
in Unreal Engine 5

This guide will walk you through setting up and using the Landscape generator in your Unreal Engine 5 projects.

Step 1: Open your Landscape generator into Your own Project

Now, let's get the Landscape generator assets into your Unreal Engine project.

  1. Download Landscape generator: This is the product you buy on Gumroad. Download the .zip file containing the Landscape generator Unreal Engine project files or assets. Choose the version you want to use.
  2. Go to the project, Content folder and copy the Landscape generator folder and place it in your own project content folder.

Step 2: Enable the Landscape patch Plugin (Crucial!)

Before you can use Landscape generator, you must ensure the Patch Landscape plugin is enabled in Unreal Engine 5.

  1. Open Your Unreal Engine 5 Project: Launch the project where you want to use Landscape generator.
  2. Access the Plugin Manager: In the top menu bar, navigate to Edit > Plugins.
  3. Search for "Patch": Type "patch" into the search bar within the Plugin Manager.
  4. Enable the "Landscape Patch" Plugin: Make sure the checkbox next to this plugin is ticked.
  5. Restart Unreal Engine: After enabling the plugin, Unreal Engine will prompt you to restart the editor. Do this to apply the changes.

Step 3: You can now use the Landscape generator by placing the Blueprints in your level or open de Demo_Level
